Finding your sacred rhythm

Finding your rhythm is about knowing who you are and who God created you to be, not trying to be who anyone else tells you should be.

What is life-giving to you? Where do you feel Jesus the most?

A sacred rhythm is a pattern that helps you return to God’s presence again and again in the midst of everyday life. It is not a rigid routine or checklist, but more like a holy cadence. Sacred rhythms are the steady spiritual practices that shape how you listen, rest, move and respond to God.

Think about the rhythm of walking a familiar trail. You don’t analyze every step, you simply walk, breathe, notice and trust the path as you go. Think about a sunrise. You don’t question whether the sun will rise.  You know it will and when it does, you breathe in the day, noticing the presence of God in your midst. This is where we find the sacred in the ordinary.

Jesus is already rooted and working. When we apply our sacred rhythms to abiding in Jesus, we find ourselves restored and refreshed, not depleted, overcommitted and feeling like we are failing.
